New York's hands-on
DJ & production school

Our approach

Real decks. Real rooms. Real feedback. We teach the craft behind the mix: how to read a floor, build a set and play like you belong in the booth.

DJ courses

On the Decks

Three levels and a vinyl lab. We put you in a group with people at the same level, so nobody's bored and nobody's lost.

FAQ

Before you hit play

Who is this for?

Anyone from never-touched-decks to playing out regularly. You tell us where you're at, and we place you in a group at the same level: Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced.

Do I need my own gear?

No. Classes run on the studio's CDJs, mixer and turntables. Having something at home to practice on helps between sessions, and we'll talk through options on your call.

How do you decide my group?

From your application and a quick Zoom call. AG and Alex Raouf make the final call after reviewing your answers.

Do I need to send a mix?

Optional for beginners. If you're intermediate or advanced, send a 15–30 minute recording. A phone video is totally fine.

Group classes or one-on-one?

Both. Pick your preference on the application, or tell us you're open to either.

Can I do vinyl only?

Yes. Vinyl Lab sessions run on Technics 1200s only. Let us know on your application if you're interested.
